The Effect: Five everyday objects are displayed on a table. A spectator has privately settled on one of them. The performer names the five objects aloud to an AI assistant called Morpheus and asks it to identify the spectator’s thought. Without seeing the objects, Morpheus makes a dramatic, accurate revelation. The objects and their order may change from one presentation to the next.
